The Senior Divisional Officer for Meme Division, Chamberlain Ntou’ou Ndong announced today that three persons died as a result of a deadly road accident involving two vehicles along the Kumba-Buea Road on January 8, 2022. 16 others also got seriously injured in the accident.


A man alleged by the military to have been working for separatists in Mbengwi has not been seen more than three weeks after he was arrested. The resident of Mbengwi says Mr. Germanus Gyeh was not an accomplice, revealing that he has also been threatened several times by separatists for working with the military.


Several cocoa suppliers today protested in front of COTEC, a cocoa and coffee company in Douala over the non-payment of their supplies for last week. The suppliers vowed not to leave the company premises unless they were paid by the company for the already delivered supplies.

Many have decried the low turnout of fans in football stadiums as the Africa Cup of Nations ensues. In Bafoussam today, just like during the second game yesterday, most seats in stadiums were empty, leaving the players and match officials much to themselves.
