The Divisional Officer for Ndu in Donga Mantung Division, North West region has asked forest owners to clear some portions of their forests in the town. The Ndu Field of the Cameroon Baptist Convention and other private forest owners, the official says, should cut down the trees to keep away separatist fighters. Failure to do so within two weeks would have them face legal actions, he warned.
Members of the network of Parliamentarians for the Diaspora, Decentralised and Cross-border Cooperation (REPCOD) today met with some diaspora-based Cameroonians. The Cameroonians from the diaspora met the network under the banner of the Afric Love Association.
