Three persons died in a road accident today between Tohogo and Carrefour Lagdo in the North Region. The three victims were on a bike that lost control while trying to overtake a vehicle. They were crushed to death by a truck.


A student has died at the Marie Albert II College in Yaoundé after falling during sports. Witnesses say the boy jumped during the sports session but landed on his head and neck. He died as he was being rushed to the hospital.


A lady has been arrested at the Nsimalen International Airport with a large quantity of cocaine. The lady was allegedly on board an Ethiopian Airline, having flown in from Nigeria. Further investigations have been opened for more insight.


At least one person has died of cholera in Bolifamba, Buea in Cameroon’s South West Region. Other sources say the death toll could have risen to three already. Health experts have urged residents to take special precautions to stay safe as the outbreak rages on.
