Four vehicles incurred damages in an accident today at Edea, along the Yaounde-Douala highway. A heavy duty truck lost control and ran into the vehicles. Luckily, no one was hurt.


An ordinary session of the National Assembly has been announced for November 11, 2021. The session summoned by the house speaker today is expected to be the last for the year. The issues up for discussion at the session are yet to be known.


The first PhD thesis from the Department of International Relations and Conflict Resolution of the University of Buea will be defended next week. The thesis will focus on ‘Media in Conflict Transformation’. This was made public in a release by the Dean of the institution’s Faculty of Laws and Political Science, Professor Atangcho Akonumbo.



Cameroon’s Embassy in Equatorial Guinea has reacted to the recent mass arrest of Cameroonians in Malabo and Bata. The Embassy says it has demanded further explanations from the Equatoguinean Government and has also sent aid to detained Cameroonians in the Central African country.



A motorbike rider was seriously injured today after colliding with a private car at the Chapelle Obili neighborhood in Yaoundé. Witnesses say the accident was caused by the driver of the car who was drunk.



A 39-year-old year man has been arrested in Melong after being accused of constantly raping his two children. The father of the duo called Jules has denied the allegations despite confirmation from his two daughters. He remains in custody pending trial.


Former Indomitable Lioness and Team Manager of the female football team Gaëlle Enganamouit has resigned from her position. She cited disagreement with the FECAFOOT president, Seidou Mbombo Njoya as the reason for her resignation.
