Several students have been injured today at the University of Buea following an explosion at the Amphi 600. Many persons have blamed the explosion on Ambazonian fighters.

The University of Buea’s Vice Chancellor has said investigations would reveal perpetrators of today’s explosion on campus. Quizzed on the possible perpetrators, the official said it was too early to make conclusive statements.



Cameroon’s Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea has confirmed that about 46 Cameroonians are set to be deported from the country. He says they are part of hundreds of other foreigners in the country arrested over illegal immigration.



A 15-year-old girl is believed to have been raped and killed in Edea by an alleged admirer. The girl was reportedly intercepted by the boy on her way back from her sick sister’s home.



A man has been reported dead in detention at the Mimboman Gendarmerie in Yaoundé. Fru Vitalis Ngwa, the victim was accused by his boss of theft. His family members have denied the allegations.
