Residents around the Nkwen market in Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon are battling to put out a fire at the facility. This comes after flames engulfed a portion of the market. The cause remains unknown.

Revelations from Doctors Without Borders say that there has been a massive cholera outbreak in the Ekondo Titi and Bakassi Health Districts, South West Region, Cameroon. According to the International Organisation, over 189 cases have been detected, with 5 deaths recorded in the affected areas.
Cameroon’s Head of State, President Paul Biya has condemned the attack on the Government Bilingual High School, in Ekondo Titi by Separatists. Many Cameroonians have however criticised the president’s late reaction, stating that it is imperative for the president to be timely in such situations.
