Separatist leader, ‘General’ Capo Daniel has blamed the Cameroon government for what he describes as “attempts by social media giant, Facebook to restrict” his platform’s reach. He made the declaration after the Ambazonian Defense Force, ADF, a Separatist faction he controls as Defense Chief was listed among Facebook’s most dangerous organizations/individuals. ADF of the Ambazonia Governing Council (AGovC) which is fighting for a breakaway state called Ambazonia since 2016 has vowed to make the English-speaking parts of Cameroon “ungovernable” until independence is granted to its people.

The Cameroon Association of English-Speaking Journalists, CAMASEJ has announced a session to drill journalists on factoring gender, human rights in conflict reporting in the restive North West and South West Regions. The body’s president, Jude Viban says the training is part of efforts to mainstream gender, protection of journalists, and promotion of human rights in conflict reporting.
Weeks after he was shot, Reverend Voma Simon of PC Ntafoang in Bali, North West Region has said he sustained injuries, after he was shot by the military. In a viral message on Sunday, Rev. Cameroon football icon, Albert Roger Milla has apoealed for the Japoma Stadium to be renamed after him. He made was speaking at a press conference after Cameroon’s Minister of State, Secretary-General at the Presidency, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh, visited the stadium. Roger Milla whose raised the country’s flag in the domain of football in the 1990s, was part of the delegation to supervise the stadium on Sunday.
