A search is ongoing for a nursing mother who abandoned her baby in Logpom neighborhood in Douala. The ‘dumped’ baby has been handed over to authorities for care.

The licence of a driver at General Travelling Agency has been withdrawn for recklessness. The action taken by the Ministry of Transport follows an accident last January. The driver was found reckless through the aid of monitoring cameras.

Edge, the construction company in charge of the Bambui-Bambili stretch of road in the North West Region, says it is stepping up efforts to complete the work. The company has promised to deliver the road in the weeks ahead.

A primary school gatekeeper escaped mob justice in Yaounde for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl multiple times. The girl’s parents realised that she returns home sad. The gatekeeper is, presently, under police custody.

Sameul Eto’o Fils, FECAFOOT,s President, has appointed General Pierre Semengué as leader of the Transitional Council of the Cameroon Professional Football League. General Pierre Semengué heads a delegation of 7 members.

Many dissenting voices have been raised for the lack of Anglophones in the recent appointments made by Samuel Eto’o Fils, President of the Cameroon Football Federation. Amongst his appointees is the retired army General Pierre Semengue. He was appointed as head of the transitional council of the professional football league.
