Decomposed body of missing IDP woman found in Edea

The corpse of an internally displaced woman whose name we got as Mispa Nangun has been found in an advanced state of decomposition in Edea, Littoral Region of Cameroon.

The woman, popularly known for her eru business, had reportedly gone missing since December 7, 2022.

Her body was in an advanced state of decomposition in an uncompleted building in the “Aviation” neighborhood on February 20, 2023.

The decomposed body was only identified by the clothes she wore before leaving the house.

An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances surrounding Mispa’s death.
