Decomposing corpse of 31-year-old found in Kribi hotel



The corpse of 31-year-old man by name Serges Fokou was found in an advanced state of decomposition in Kribi, South Region of Cameroon.

The lifeless body was found on September 13, 2022, in a hotel in the town.

According to reports, a search for Serge had been launched a week before the sad discovery was made.



The wife of the victim indicated that her husband had left the house on September 4, for an errand at the Ndokoti market in Douala but did return home.

They however received a call some few days later indicating that Serge Fokou’s has been found in a decomposition state at a hotel in the town.



He was buried by the municipal health services in the Boamanga cemetery, despite the indignation of the family who sought to know the real cause of his death.

Investigations have been opened by the police, to elucidate the real circumstances behind Serges’ mysterious death.
