Members of the North-West regional assembly are meeting in ordinary session today to discuss issues pertaining to the development of the region in the days ahead.
The information is contained in a release earlier signed by the president of the assembly, Professor Fru Angwafor III.
According to the said release, the regional assembly shall open today and sit through till Thursday, September 23.
The regional assembly came as a result of the major national dialogue called by the government to solve the Anglophone crisis. It has been described by many as a stillbirth baby that has failed to solve the Anglophone crisis.
Joseph Anyi, a teacher by based in Bamenda says he hears the name only on radio.
“I hear that thing only on radio. I’m still to believe that there is such a thing in this region. I do not even know where they are located or what they are doing,” he says.
Coming barely days after violence has heightened across the North-West region, many are expecting something to filter out from it, something that can help denizens of the region.
