Devis Epassy welcomes first child, three months after wedding

Devis Epassy, the Cameroonian international football custodian, recently celebrated the arrival of his first child. This joyous occasion comes just three months after he married his long-time girlfriend.

On July 6, 2023, he married Karina Maria Zanfir in France.

Yesterday, on October 17, 2023, the couple joyfully welcomed their first child, a baby girl.

Devis Epassy launched his foundation in Cameroon on Friday, September 16, 2023, in collaboration with the Ministry of Basic Education. The foundation aims to promote education for the most deprived children.

The Devis Epassy Foundation has a mission to offer educational assistance to children who are in need, including those from low-income families, orphans, and children with disabilities.

The foundation will also focus on promoting sports and physical activity among children, while also raising awareness about the significance of education for sustainable development.

Devis’s foundation is a collaborative project with the Ministry of Basic Education, led by Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa.

“I am pleased to announce the signing of the partnership agreement that now binds the EPASSY Foundation to the Ministry of Basic Education, represented by its illustrious Minister, Professor Laurent Serge Etoundi NGOA, whom I thank once again,” Epassy said.

Many Cameroonians on Facebook are expressing joy after the announcement of the arrival of their first child.

Devis Epassy stepped in to replace Andre Onana when he was suspended during the most recent FIFA World Cup held in Qatar.

He was awarded the title of Man of the Match following Cameroon’s 1-0 victory against Brazil. The young footballer captured the admiration of Cameroonians by making remarkable saves against a formidable Brazilian team, winning their hearts in the process.

Devis Epassy, a Cameroonian international footballer with French nationality, was born on February 2, 1993, in Soisy-sous-Montmorency.
