Dibombari: mutilated corpse of missing 20-year-old girl found

The corpse of a 20-year-old lady by name Virginie has been found with some parts removed, in Dibombari, Littoral Region of Cameroon.

The discovery was made in a bush after five days of intense search.

According to reports, the young woman had left the house a few days back to hawk cassava paste, popularly known as “bobolo”.

However, family members later became worried, as she failed to return home that day.

Worried, they resorted to a search which led to the macabre discovery on the fifth day. Her basket of “bobolo” was lying by her corpse at the time the discovery was made.

A suspect has been arrested in relation to the murder of the young woman.
