Disturbing silence over recruitment of 2000 University lecturers

In November last year, President Paul Biya launched a program for the recruitment of 2000 university lecturers.
Files were deposited since May and interviews conducted.

According to the program, results were supposed to be published on the 31st of August latest and assumption of service was due on the first of October.

It is halfway into October already and some candidates say nothing has been done.

“They instead went further to post DIPES II holders from ENS into various universities ” a source told Mimi Mefo.

“Do we take this to be a new ‘glissement’ or something else?” The source added.

This failure to respect the program coupled with silence on the part of the government candidates say has left them worried and confused.
