Diverse reactions follow Eunice Zunon’s public apology to partner, Tenor

Buzz surrounding the recent quarrel between rapper, Tenor Ebanflang and lover, Eunice Zunon appears to be dying down, but fans are yet to have enough.

The Ivorian comedian yesterday August 26, tendered a public apology to Tenor following their fight, which resulted in mixed reactions from Facebook users.

The public apology, published on her official Facebook page was directed at the Cameroonian and Ivorian populations.

For the past few days, a video has been circulating online where the Ivorian star and the Cameroonian artist, Tenor are seen in a serious tussle.

“Allow me not to enter, today, into the details of this issue from which we should have spared the Ivorian and Cameroonian populations already confronted with other socio-economic challenges on a daily basis,” said Eunice in her apology.

She added: “today, I would like, with humility, to ask forgiveness from everyone for these images …”

Reacting to the apology, a Facebook user noted that it was to be tendered to Tenor and not the public.

She wrote,” You apologize to everyone except Tenor. Were we the ones you violated?”

Meanwhile, another Facebook user urged the Ivorian star to rather look into her character.

“Eunice, you need a behavior change. We must pray for that. I don’t think you really see the problem. Your character is not good. Even if there is another in front of you, you will have the same reactions since he will not be perfect. Please pull yourself together and be a sweet woman. You can do it, ” the user noted.

However, others believe Eunice simply defended herself and needs not tender an apology.

It is the case with this user who wrote: “You don’t have the right to ask for forgiveness, you just defended yourself. Your only crime is to have loved with all your soul and with all your strength your love was sincere reason why. It’s up to him to apologize because he wanted to give a bad image of you.”

Another user disclosed that Eunice Zunon will only be forgiven on the condition that “… any unhealthy attempt wanting to destroy the professional career of our dear brother and artist Tenor moves away from your thoughts very quickly. The voice notes we listened to didn’t make a good impression.”

This user, on her part indicated that she forgives the artist and admires the latter’s courage.

“You are forgiven Eunice… thank you so much. I admire your courage and this proves that you really loved Tenor, ” she wrote.

However, despite the apology, it is alleged that Eunice Zunon has filed a complaint against the Cameroonian artist and his manager, Taphis.

It is in this light that a Facebook user posed the following questions: “OK understood. But what about marriage? Is it finished ? Why did you file a complaint? What did you want to do with the bottle of whiskey?” he asked.

Tenor, however, is yet to make an official statement on the incident since the video of their fight went viral some few days back.
