Ombete – a form five student of Government Bilingual High School, GBHS Deido in Douala and a man of about 60 years have been arrested and detained in Douala for practicing homosexuality.
According to a witness at Bilongue quarter, Douala III where the incident took place Monday March 8th 2021, “neighbours got sounds of the boy and the man having a sexual affair”.
They broke the door and discovered the two in the act” the witness adds.
Inhabitants of Bilongue quarter are said to have lynched the two before the intervention of elements of the police force.
A source at GBHS Deido says the Form Five student got permission from school on the pretext that he was suffering from acute stomach complications, but headed to where they were caught in the act.
Less than a month ago, a popular crossdresser called Shakiro and two others were arrested and are detained at New Bell prison in suspicions of homosexuality.
