The player in a note on his Facebook page wrote that, he was on board a Turkish Arline plane that suffered a mishap as it touched down the Douala International Airport.
Ondoa wrote that: “Finally arrived on the land of the Indomitable Lions… not without a hitch”, adding that, “ I am alive despite the fact that the plane caught fire shortly before the crash landing in Douala. Thanks to the Turkish Airlines crew for their composure and professionalism.” He also thanked God for rescuing him.
According to Ondoa, “we will recover from our emotions and prepare for the rest, the best is yet to come.”
