Douala: Man Dies After Being Buried Alive In Sand

A man identified as a driver has died in the terminus neighborhood of Douala after being buried by the sand he was transporting.

According to local sources, the truck was transporting sand across Terminus, when the driver realised the sand was dropping in huge quantity on the highway. He then stopped his vehicle to block the leaking portion, when unfortunately the content emptied on him.

Local Inhabitants in a rescue attempt, only retrieved a lifeless body from the huge mass mass of sand.

The body has been taken to the laquintinie hospital mortuary.
