The circulation vehicles, motorcycles, and people in some areas in Douala have been paralyzing today Tuesday, December 29th, 2020.

This follows the blocking of some streets for the free circulation of the mascot of the African Football Championship (CHAN) and the African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The caravan of the mascot “Tara” from Place de Governement in Bonanjo has moved around passing through Bali, Deux Eglise, Mboppi, BP Cite, Ndokotti, Ange Rapheal, Cantel Bepanda, and Deido.

As the caravan continues to other quarters, parts of the city are experiencing traffic.

Though this is causing a lot of inconveniences most especially to businessmen making purchases for end of year feasts, other people have gathered along the road to have a glimpse of the mascot to represent African football from January.

The mascot is expected in Limbe and Buea in the South west region tomorrow Wednesday, December 30th, 2020 for the same exercise.

The tour of the mascot is limited to cities that will host matches for African Football Championship to run from January 16th to February 7th in Yaounde, Douala, and Limbe.
