Douala : Un ventilateur cause un incendie au marché central

Un incendie s’est déclaré au carrefour Anatole aux environs de minuit jeudi dernier, détruisant environ une trentaine de boutiques.

Le gouverneur du Littoral, Samuel Dieudonné Ivaha Diboua, s’est rendu sur les lieux avec son équipe ce matin pour évaluer les dégâts et soutenir les personnes touchées. Les pompiers ont rencontré des difficultés en raison de la proximité des boutiques, mais ont finalement réussi à maîtriser les flammes après plusieurs heures d’efforts.

Selon les premières constatations, l’incendie aurait été déclenché par un ventilateur laissé en marche dans l’une des boutiques.
