Douala: Young Couple Arrested For Robbery

Reports have it that a young girl of about 19 called Blondel has been arrested alongside her boyfriend, Calvin for robbery.

According to a report on CNA, Blondel, who engages in prostitution, usually isolates men into brothel rooms for her boyfriend, recently released from jail to rob them.

On the day the pair were arrested, Blondel in her usual manner had taken a man from a bar in Ndokoti, where they both operate into one of its rooms.

On their way out, it is believed she alerted her boyfriend to come and strike. The man was robbed of all his property on him that day.

Unfortunately for the young couple, the bar owner who happened to have fended them off his property for such behavior had alerted the police about their presence.

The pair were arrested by the forces of law and order. While being questioned, Blondel’s boyfriend denied any robbery allegations and insisted he had come to the bar to defend his girlfriend.

Nevertheless, the pair were taken away by the security elements into detention. Further investigations will be done to establish facts against the pair.
