Dschang: Many feared dead as passenger bus goes up in flames

An unknown number of people are believed to have been burned to death Wednesday January 27th 2021 following a fatal road accident at a place called Falaise Dschang; West region of Cameroon.

A local reporter at the scene has told Mimi Mefo Info on phone that “…a seventy seater bus belonging to Menoua voyages agency from Douala collided with a vehicle transporting fuel from Dschang. At the moment, the number of deaths have not been established as some people have been burnt beyond recognition “
The accident occurred about 5:00 AM.

Five people rescued at the moment have been taken to hospitals .

Administrative and security officials in the West region are heading to the place and will be issuing an official statement in the hours ahead.
