At least four thieves specialised in hijacking vehicles in Ndokayo, East region of Cameroon have been arrested by elements of the Ndokayo Gendarmerie Brigade.
The gang consists of four armed robbers including three teenagers and a 25-year-old man who leads the gang.
CRTV reports that the gang had robbed a car on July 3 somewhere in the East region, which they repainted and used to carryout their theft with.
An operation was launched by the Gendarmes to track the thugs down, eventually leading to their arrest on July 17.
They have been detained at the Bétaré-Oya Gendarmerie Brigade, where further investigations are being made.
