After the fall of National Polytechnic FC Bambui, Bang Bullet and the others into the regional league, Foncha Street FC shall in the next football season play in the regional league.
The team lost their elite 2 status on Monday after they were defeated 3-2 by Lion Blesse during the elite 2 play offs.
The hope of the Northwest region in having a team in the elite two championships is now on Bafut Rangers who are currently taking part in the national inter pools.
Head coach, Frankline Anomewa has assured supporters of the opportunity to enjoy elite 2 as they prepare to face best stars academy of Limbe.
The team needs to grab all 6 points in pool C to return to the region with the status of a division two side.
Coach Frankline Anomewa who has been to the national Interpol 3 times, with Rainbow FC, Foncha FC and now Bafut Rangers say he has the assurance they will make it.
“The experience this time is more than the second time I went there, so im sure we are going to succeed. We have started preparing alredy to see if our objectives will be achieved,” he said.
