Esu Indigene Found Dead In House In Limbe


A native of Esu village, Menchum division of the North West region, Luam Emmanuel is reported to have been found dead inside his house in Bombende village in Limbe.


The body of Luam was found lifeless in his room, but it still remains unclear how he died. According to sources close to him, Luam was epileptic, and would sometimes suffer from seizures.


According to testimonies, he was found dead after his neighbour who had tried calling him several times to no avail went looking for him in his room.


“…when she hit his window, it opened and there he was lying on the bed with his face on floor,” our informant said.


The neighbour is said to have proceeded to raise an alarm of what had happened. The police are also said to have arrived the scene and collected the statements from the neighbours.


This unfortunate news also comes a day after alleged Fulani gunmen assassinated the Fon of Esu.The people of Esu have reportedly promised to retaliate against the assasination of Fon Akum Achuo II.
