Fair to educate public on military career choices underway in Yaounde



The Ministry of Defence is currently running a three-day initiative to provide information on career choices in the army.

The program running at the 101 military airbase in Yaounde kicks off today May 17 and ends on May 19, a day to the National Day.


“The said days … Objective is to strengthen the bond between the army and the nation,” declared defence boss, Joseph Beti Assomo.

Through the open days, visitors will also be informed on the “military defence system, its capabilities and organisation,” Minister Beti added.



Defence Minister, the Delegate General for National Security and other top defence and security officials will visit the fair on May 19th.
