Final touches are being carried out ahead of the National Day march past. While some pavements are being repainted, the armed forces have spent the past days practicing to march. It remains uncertain if President Paul Biya will partake in the May 20th ceremony.



A 34-year-old victim of the Anglophone crisis has given birth to quadruplets. The lady is one of thousands that escaped from the North West to the West region due to the armed conflict. She is now based in Baleng, West Region.



The West regional hospital has pledged to foot the bills of the IDP lady who gave birth to quadruplets. The announcement was made by the Director of the Regional Hospital, Prof. George Enow Orock who said the facility was elated to be host to the occurrence.


A monument constructed next to the Prime Minister’s office in Yaoundé has animated debate on social media today. The structure is graced with the phrase ‘I love my country Cameroon’ and is expected to be inaugurated in the days ahead.




The Minister of Public Health has announced dates for entrance examinations into approved private and public institutions training health personnel. Dr Manaouda in a release noted that the exams set to get students for the 2022/2022 academic year will be launched on August 27 and 28. Examination centres are located in ten different towns nationwide.
