A fake military colonel has been arrested in Akwa neighborhood in Douala of the Littoral Region of Cameroon.
He was arrested on the night of July 21, 2022.
The man, according to sources, had settled for a higher rank in order to broaden the scope of his schemes.
“Colonel mannequin” as he was fondly called used the opportunity to extort money from several drivers in the economic capital of Cameroon.
He was unfortunately captured by gendarmes and is currently under the custody of the forces of law and order.
