Fako SDO orders arrest of church pastor, Bongala traditional council chair

Mr Chaibou, the Senior Divisional Officer, SDO, of Fako Division in the South West Region of Cameroon is said to have ordered the arrest and detention of a church Pastor and the traditional council chairman of Bongala village.

Rev. Temnyong Deric, who is the Senior Pastor of the Miracles Valley International Gospel Centre Limbe was reportedly arrested Tuesday January 24, 2023 alongside the Chairman of Bongala traditional council.

MMI gathered that, they were arrested without a warrant.

The forces of law and order who carried out the arrest advanced no reasons for the act.

At the time of this report, they are being detained at the Central police station in Limbe.
