Fame Ndongo says there will be no chaos in Cameroon.

The communication officer of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM), Prof. Jacques Fame Ndongo, has said there will be no chaos in Cameroon. In a letter on Saturday, the Higher Education Minister condemned what he termed insurrection attempts.
While the official results of last Sunday’s election are still awaited, others have proclaimed themselves winners.

“To proclaim oneself “President of the Republic” is to descend into bawdiness. We experienced this farce in 1992 and in 2018, and today, the same worn-out record is back at a gallop,” he stated.

“To gesticulate feloniously, while self-proclaiming oneself ‘President-elect’ and ‘Head of the Armed Forces’, is to sink into schizophrenia. No one will listen to this shaggy and stale fabrication. No republican will pay close attention to the burlesque lucubrations of the one who calls citizens to revolt. By what right? On what legitimate or legal basis? To what end? There will be no chaos in Cameroon.” he added
To him, Cameroon is not a collection of “outlaws” (a megalomaniac, now “President-elect and self-proclaimed”, used this noun in 2018 to describe the one who today supports the boasting).
Ndongo stated that Cameroon is a state governed by the rule of law.

“All Republicans are calmly awaiting the official results. And the republicans are more numerous, courageous, and tenacious than some suspect. They will make it known as needed.”

Ndongo has constantly been reacting since Issa Tchiroma Bakary declared himself winner of Sunday’s presidential election. He is not the only member of government; others like Joseph le, Gregoire Owona and Paul Atanga Nji have reacted too.
Meanwhile, the national vote counting commission continues work in Yaounde. Some results which we can’t authenticate have surfaced online.
