By Amina Hilda

A vigilante member by name Vanaha has been beheaded following a recent attack by the Boko Haram terrorist sect in the Amchidé locality, Far North region of Cameroon.

Reports from Amchidé have it that the heavily armed men stormed the locality on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at about 3 a.m.

Their target was to eliminate members of the vigilance committee.

Vanaha, popularly known as Obarotte, “was slaughtered like an animal” stated a source.

Although weakened, the jihadists still retain their ability to cause serious harm and spread terror within the local communities.
