Father Of Slain Mathematics Teacher Sends Sealed Message To President Paul Biya

Etienne Njomi, father of the mathematics teacher killed by his student last month has sent a message to President Paul Biya.

In an audience with the Minister of Secondary Education Pauline Nalova Lyonga Egbe Thursday, February 13, 2020 in Yaounde, the father of Boris Kevin Tchakonte expressed appreciation to the President of the Republic and the government for standing by the family in the course of the burial.

He expressed pain of having lost a son that was to be a pillar of the family.

It remains unclear how the president supported the Njomi’s family in the course of the burial. What most Cameroonians can remember is the fact that the president tweeted a condolence message to the family and equally expressed sympathy to the family while addressing the youth last February 10.

Boris Kevin Tchakonte was stabbed to death last January 13, 2020 by a student at Lycee Classique de Nkolbisson in Yaounde.
