FECAFOOT dismisses 21 Under 17 Lions for age-cheating

Some 21 players out of 30 Under 17 Lions have been dismissed from the team.

They were dismissed in the course of the training for the Central African Football Federations’ Union(UNIFFAC) U17 in Limbe, South West Region of Cameroon.

Their dismissal, according to a release by the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) was a result of failures recorded during the
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) test.

According to the release, players must respect ages per category.

The Football Federation equally revealed that measures will be taken for the immediate replacement of the 21 players dismissed.
