The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has donated some equipments to the Cameroonian government to help them in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
The equipments were handed over to the Ministry of Public Health by the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Cameroon.
The donations consisted of surgical masks, jackets, and sanitized hand gloves amongst others. The donation made by Saudi Arabia to the Cameroonian Government has been lauded by authorities of both countries.
They see it as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation ties between Yaoundé and Riyadh. The donations have also come in handy as the Government prepares to launch a third vaccination campaign.
The Minister of Health Dr. Manaouda Malachie has called on Cameroonians to turn out massively at vaccination centers and get vaccinated against the Delta variant, which has been tagged deadlier than the previous two.
