At least five persons are said to have been arrested in connection with the kidnap of a medical doctor in Douala.
According to reports, five persons were arrested by the judiciary police for organizing and taking part in the kidnapping of Dr Dissongo Olivia.
Dr Olivia was kidnapped on April 6 around the Douala international Airport and was released days later.
The eldest amongst the arrested is said to be 25 years old.
They were reportedly apprehended in Camp Yabassi.
However, investigations are still ongoing in a bid to unveil the circumstances behind the Doctor’s kidnapping.
