Floods Yaounde, Cameroon
Floods are an endemic problem in Cameroon, but when they constantly hit Yaounde, the country’s seat of power and President Biya’s residence, many are wondering what the priorities of the authorities are.
When it rains in the city, movements are paralysed. Some padestrians are carried by stand-by energic youths who have transformed it into money-making venture.
On the lips of every Cameroonian now is the football federation and the squabbles between the government and Samuel Eto’o.
“Why is enough attention not being said about other societal ills, including floods,” questioned many social media users.
