Senator Fon Chafah Isaac, the traditional ruler of Bangolan in Ngoketunjia Division of the North West, has honoured the outgoing US Ambassador to Cameroon, HE Christopher J. Lamora, with an advisor title.
Ambassador Lamora was honoured over the weekend after he was received by Fon Chafah, and Queen Marie Brigitte, at the Fon’s palace in Yaounde.
He titled the diplomat as Nditet Ntoh or palace advisor.
At the event, the diplomat and traditional ruler discussed a range of topics related to the armed conflict in the North West Region.
Since he came to Cameroon in March 2022, Ambassador Lamora has engaged with community leaders, traditional rulers and other stakeholders in Cameroon in an effort to cement relations.
He made his first visit to Bamenda, North West Regional capital, in January as part of his tour to the 10 Regions of the country.
