Forty-four players to answer FECAFOOT query for age falsification

Forty-four players from eight different teams have been summoned for questioning by the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) for age falsification.

According to a statement by FECAFOOT, the summons follows allegations of age discrepancies. The various players will be expected to present themselves for interrogations between July 4 and 8.

They are required to present themselves alongside the various presidents of their different groups.

“The parties concerned are invited to appear, assisted or not by their lawyer, for their hearing” the statement indicated.

It went further to reiterate that failure to present themselves will be followed by punitive measures.
