Four alleged bone traffickers were arrested by the Elements of the Special Criminal Inquiries and Investigations Bureau (BSREC) of the Mfoundi Territorial Gendarmerie.
The gang was arrested following a raid on August 11, 2022, in the Ngousso neighborhood, Centre Region of Cameroon.
“This raid led to the arrest of two individuals who had a box in their possession. After searching the box, the Gendarmes found human bones concealed in several bags of cement,”
according to the National Gendarmerie.
It is reported that the discovery of two individuals in possession of boxes containing bones, led to the arrest of another trafficker, including the supplier.
Investigations, according to the National Gendarmerie are carried out to identify other members of this group of traffickers.
