Four Amba Fighters Neutralised In Kumba

Four non-state armed men suspected to be Ambazonia fighters were this morning at about 4am neutralised by military officers.

The incident occurred in a shoot-out between the gunmen and the security around Mile One neighbourhood.

Sources say about two guns were confiscated from the neutralised gunmen. The Corpses are said to be lying beside the road at Mile one.

Residents of the Mile One area have confirmed that two of the corpses are spotted around the road leading to Make, a neighbouring village to the Mile One neighbourhood.

But another source told Mimi Mefo Info that: “Two Amba fighter killed and two civilians. The military shot the first civilian and the other they arrested him as he was rushing out of his house into the bush and was executed”.

An uneasy calm now reigns in Kumba.
