Four drug traffickers arrested at PK 15, Douala

A gang of four drug dealers has been apprehended at the PK 15 neighborhood in Douala, Littoral Region by elements of the Logbessou Gendarmerie Brigade.

They were arrested on Sunday, July 3, 2022.

Their arrest, according to sources, followed a number of complaints from the locals of Logbessou. The elements of the Gendarmerie carried out a raid that enabled them to get a hold of the said drug dealers in the neighborhood.

The drug dealers were caught “red-handed, smoking cannabis in a bunker they used as shelter and where they would retreat after perpetrating assaults in the area” explained an officer of the Gendarmerie Nationale du Cameroun.

About one Kilogram of Cannabis, alongside a knife and two razor blades, was seized in the course of the arrest.

The gang has been kept behind bars at the Logbessou gendarmerie brigade.
