AWCON 2022: Indomitable Lionesses to face Togo tonight

The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon will be facing their Togolese counterparts tonight in the ongoing Women’s Africa Cup of Nations 2022 (AWCON2022), in Morocco.

The match, scheduled to take place at the Mohamed V stadium will be played at 9pm, Cameroon time.

The Indomitable Lionesses on Sunday, July 3, played a 0-0 tie with Zambia during their first game in the tournament. Meanwhile, Togo lost their first game to Tunisia, following a 4-1 score.

However, the Togolese team’s coach reiterated that they are not ready to give up any time soon.

Addressing the press vis-à-vis tonight’s match, Kai Tomety, Togo’s female team coach stated that ” We fear nothing to lose. We have a strategy to make Cameroon doubt.”

The Lionesses’ captain, Aboudi Ongeune ahead of the match, however, assured Cameroonians that they are ready to put in their everything to bring home the victory.
