Four escape in Douala New Bell Jail break

Four inmates are reported to have escaped from the New Bell prison in Douala, Littoral Region of Cameroon.

The detainees are said to have escaped yesterday night, at about 9:00pm.

The 5th inmate who sustained a severe injury while escaping was later apprehended by the security forces at Camp Bamoum, we learned.
