Renowned social activist, Entrepreneur, and President of the Cameroon People’s Party, Edith Kah Walla has come out to honour the contributions of the late Ni John Fru Ndi National Chairman of the Social Democratic Front (SDF) in Cameroon’s politics.

As a former member of the SDF, Kah Wallah tweeted following the passing away of the Chairman saying “Ni John Fru Ndi for decades championed the fight for freedom and democracy in Cameroon. He was a mentor and a teacher. I will never forget what I learnt from him about grassroots politics. We will continue to fight for power to return to the people. Rest in peace.”

Kah Wallah joined the SDF Party in 2007 and worked closely with the late Fru Ndi for over 3 years. In 2010, she resigned from the party over contrasting views on strategic actions for the party.

She later declared her intention to run for the 2011 presidential election, having been elected as the president of the Cameroon’s People Party (CPP)
