Former students 21st batch of the Government Bilingual High School, GBHS, Tiko in Fako division, South West region have reached out to some persons affected by the cholera outbreak in the division.
The Ex-Students visited the Tiko District Hospital on Sunday, March 27. During the visit, they donated 240 bags of drips of ringers.
In a statement made public by their president, Engemise Manga Yanik, he called on other persons of goodwill to come to the aid of those affected: “We call on everyone to join us in fighting and reducing the spread of cholera plaguing our community,” the statement read in part.
He further encouraged fellow classmates of the 21st batch of GBHS Tiko to be part of what he said is a movement to give back to the town of Tiko by joining their Facebook page. Link: https://www.facebook.com/21st-Batch-GBHS-Tiko-113614794576270/
