“General” No Pity sets Oku on fire

Business persons in Elak Oku are still in shock after separatist fighters purportedly led by ‘General No Pity’ stormed the market early Monday morning and set the market ablaze.

Vehicles were also burnt by the fighters.

A source in Ekak, Oku says the separatist fighters accused them of disrespecting the traditional Monday ghost towns that they have instituted.

The source also says the boys stormed the market while firing gunshots.

Many shops and vehicles around the market went up in flames.

The mayor’s house and the council chambers were also targeted with part of it suffering from the flames.
