The impact of military invasion in Okwala, a village in Lower Bafut, Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon, has been enormous.
A couple was shot dead by soldiers as they raided the village.
The soldiers came when most of the villagers had escaped to the bushes for safety.
The incident occurred on Friday, March 20th. Several residents in the village are now home after their houses were reportedly set on fire by the soldiers.
Calm is yet to return to the village.
