The Secretariat of State for Defence, SED has begun interrogating some senior security officials over the death of Journalist, Martinez Zogo.
Amongst those grilled so far is the Director General of External Research, DGRE, Maxime Eko Eko.
Others include his assistant in charge of Operations.
The grilling of the senior security officials , came days after president Paul Biya had waded into the murder scandal of the journalist.
Biya in a leather issued by the Minister of state, Secretary General of the presidency, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh had ordered the National Gendarmerie and the Police to urgently probe into the assassination of the radio journalist.
Ever since Biya ordered the probe, several officials have been heard at SED.
While some are already being interrogated, others are likely to be grilled in the days ahead.
The Technical Adviser at DGRE, Elung Lobe James will likely be grilled.
Elung James who is technical advisor at DGRE served previously as director of operations at same institution.
He said to be working closely with the current director of operations, Denwa who has already been grilled at SED.
Meanwhile Colonel Toupouri, still of the same service had earlier been arrested in connection with the murder case.
Martinez Zogo was found dead late January in an advanced State of decomposition. He had been kidnapped by unknown men in Yaounde.
