An unidentified woman has been crushed to death by a heavy-duty truck in Bonaberi, Douala Cameroon.

The tragic incident occurred at about 11: 00 am today Monday, July 10, 2023.

According to eyewitnesses, the woman was on board a commercial motorcycle when they were knocked down by the heavy-duty truck.

“The woman could not survive since she was crushed by the truck but the commercial bike rider survived after sustaining major injuries,” a source disclosed to MMI.

“It was a horrible scenario. A bad one to witness,” our source went on.

The biker rider was transported to a nearby health facility for urgent medical attention while the corpse of the womb was ferried to the mortuary.

The real circumstances that led to the tragic incident are however yet to be made known but such fatal accidents have become an almost daily occurrence in Cameroon.

Many blame bad roads, while some say there is need for stricter regulations surrounding driving.
