“The schools are to affiliate to the various 12 schools and faculties of the University of Bamenda. They shall attend senate and council meetings. They are now essentially part of the University of Bamenda. Their certificates shall be issued by the University of Bamenda,” she said.

It was also an opportunity for UBa’s Vice-Chancellor to announce that at the moment, the university is busy with pre-registration, competitive entrance exams into the various schools and faculties and it’s anticipated the admission board of the university shall meet by the end of September for effective classes to start on October 5.

Last academic year, the University of Bamenda registered some seventeen thousand students and it is expected that the intake this academic year shall continue to rise.
